Rain or shine, the show must go on! Of course, the one day out of the year it rains in Southern California! But that didn’t stop us, actually, it was one of the funniest engagement se..
A little over a week ago (the day we had that heatwave in LA), I got to photograph my good friends Kelsey and Alex’s wedding at the always stunning Villa at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Kelsey is one of Katy’s oldest friends, and her now husband, Alex, used to work with Katy on The Voice, so their wedding was a total family affair!
Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending the evening with these two amazing women! We started our session at the beautiful Charmlee Wilderness Park and finished at the iconic Leo Carrillo cliffs! Camille and Anastasia didn’t meet until Stasia moved to Los Angeles from Chicago in 2013. They were both working as nurses at the same hospital…
Mel and Fern’s engagement session last week was too much fun! Wandering around Abbot Kinney in Venice, every corner we turned was another perfect backdrop full of color and tons of personality. These two didn’t need much direction when it came to taking photos, their love shined through each and every shot. With impeccable taste..
I can’t believe it’s already been a month since Kate and David said their I Do’s! What a perfect day November 4th was at the Santa Barbara Four Seasons. Originally, there was a 40% chance on rain, but for Kate and David’s wedding, Mother Nature held out for us! There’s beauty around every corner of this property. Pairing the stunning the Four Seasons Santa Barbara with a gorgeous couple like these two…the camera practically worked itself! Not to mention, Kate and David were dressed to the nines, with Ferragamo loafers on David’s feet and Kate’s two beautiful dresses – a Mark Zunino gown for the ceremony and Marchesa to part..

I had such an amazing time hanging out with these lovebirds a couple weeks ago! Samira and Kazim brought me to the Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Garden for the first time, and let me tell you, I’m now a little obsessed! I know I write about it all the time, but I can’t tell you how much I love new locations! Especially when they look like this place! 😀 We had such an awesome tour guide that took us around in a golf cart from location to location. I was having a little bit of sensory overload with all of the different beautiful backgrounds. Samira and Kazim were pros when It came to being in front of the camera. And by pros, I mean….
I love it when my clients pick a new location that I’ve never been too! It felt as if we were in Lake Tahoe, peeking through…
It still feel’s like summer and I’m loving it!!! I will soak up these beach engagement shoots, as long as I can! Who am I kidding, we live in California…….this is how it always is! 🙂
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Katy, as she grew up dancing at my Mom’s dance studio in Moorpark, CA. I can’t tell you how much a enjoy seeing everything come full circle! Katy
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Kylie and Kyle’s (yes, you read that right – KYLIE and KYLE’S) breathtaking wedding at Cielo Farms in Malibu. One of my favorite venues, Cielo Farms has such an intimate feel, yet feels so….
