On Thanksgiving Eve, Katy and I took the scenic drive down to Palos Verdes for Molly and John’s engagement session at Terranea Resort. Now for those of you who don’t know, Molly is Katy’s best friend, sister, ride or die, Maid of Honor, etc., and they even have an MK tattoo for their names (not Michael Kors) to prove it! Anyway, Molly and John got engaged about two months before us (thanks for the pressure John 😉 ha), and are getting married two months before us too, so next year is going to be one big party.

Living in California, we have the best lighting year round! Leo Carrillo has got to be one of my favorite beach locations for engagement sessions. It has everything from the beautiful rock formations, to the stunning golden fields. Mina and Nabil wa….

I had so much fun with Kathryn and Will a couple of weeks ago in Westlake Village! We were originally planning to shoot at a different location, but Kathryn made an incredible game time decision to change to a nearby outdoor park. Man, am I so glad she did! This location was 5 minutes away from my house,  and was my first time ever shooting there (it was right under my nose and I didn’t event know it). Kathryn and Will brought a bluetooth speaker playing some of their favorite tunes – I’m definitely making music mandatory for all shoots now…

Greystone Mansion has got to be one of my all time favorite locations in Los Angeles. Tucked away in Beverly Hills, this iconic landmark was built in 1928 and has more character than you’ll know what to do with. Janet and Andy came dressed perfectly for a Greystone Mansion Engagement Session.

Another beautiful day in Malibu with another beautiful bride and groom to be! I feel so incredibly lucky, not only to have places like Malibu that are a hop, jump and a skip away, but to have such amazing couples like Katie and Nath…

This engagement session at Calamigos Ranch started out perfectly, right off the bat. Juliana and Eric brought a little speaker playing Chris Stapleton – it doesn’t get much better than that, I could have photographed these two all day!

Mel and Fern’s engagement session last week was too much fun! Wandering around Abbot Kinney in Venice, every corner we turned was another perfect backdrop full of color and tons of personality. These two didn’t need much direction when it came to taking photos, their love shined through each and every shot. With impeccable taste..

I had such an amazing time hanging out with these lovebirds a couple weeks ago! Samira and Kazim brought me to the Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Garden for the first time, and let me tell you, I’m now a little obsessed! I know I write about it all the time, but I can’t tell you how much I love new locations! Especially when they look like this place! 😀 We had such an awesome tour guide that took us around in a golf cart from location to location. I was having a little bit of sensory overload with all of the different beautiful backgrounds. Samira and Kazim were pros when It came to being in front of the camera. And by pros, I mean….

We are just about a year out from Catherine and Patrick’s wedding, and let me tell you, I am counting down the days! If this engagement shoot was a preview of how amazing their wedding will be…oh my!

The Venice Canals are such a rad place! I’m always so excited when clients pick unique locations like the canals. Kiley and Kyle were the absolute sweetest!
